# Is there an "official" Processing jam/conference sort of thing?

Title says it all ๐ Is there an official Processing jam of some kind or some sort of all day conference event. Would be a great way to meet other people and other educators using it in their classes and also fun!
Maybe the there is a contest to win an @shiffman autographed train whistle or something ๐

I donโt know if there is one official gathering. There are a few.
[CCFest](http://ccfest.rocks/) is coming to LA in September.
[Processing Community Day](https://day.processing.org/) was in October last year and will happen again January 2019.
P5.js had their own [community day](https://p5js.org/contributors-conference/).
There are probably other gatherings that Iโm missing.

Libre Graphics Meeting often has some Processing related things going on (on the unofficial events front)
