# I'll start a coding channel for code newbies and CS educators

I just want to announce that I decided to start a coding Youtube channel:

What makes this channel special:

- I plan to teach JavaScript to absolute beginners through a series of an interactive live streams. If you are just about to begin JavaScript, you may find the lessons useful to you.
- I plan to use the [codeguppy.com](https://codeguppy.com) coding platform. Therefore CS teachers and educators that use this coding platform in the class may find the channel useful.
- [codeguppy.com](http://codeguppy.com) is based on p5.js — therefore it will be trivial to convert programs to plain p5.js sketches.

First live stream: Thursday, March 3rd, 2022.
