I changed to your code.
Now it is sort of working.
A step in the right direction.
The console now displays "Hello, world"s with randomly interspaced lines with
“null” on them. The “null” lines occur mostly every “Hello world” but not always.
The time between "Hello world"s can vary from about 1 sec to 20 sec or more.
Strange.
Any ideas?
