# How do I contribute to the references of p5.js?

I have contributed a few examples to [p5js.org](http://p5js.org), but I want to contribute to [references](https://p5js.org/reference/) as well. What should I know, or in other words, what should be the prerequisite knowledge for contributing to the [references](https://p5js.org/reference/) section of [p5js.org](http://p5js.org)? So far, I have used JavaScript and p5.js to curate examples. What other things should I know?
