# Having problem with video library

when ever I am trying to use the video library it is showing an error message:  
a library used by this sketch is not installed properly.

I have re installed the processing 3.5.3 but the same error message persisits

Now i having the same problem :a library used by this sketch is not installed properly  
though inside message is  
A library relies on native code that’s not available.  
Or only works properly when the sketch is run as a 32-bit application.  
so should i download a 32 bit  
please help

i think you get confused by the processing folder structure…

-a- there is a path where you unzip the downloaded processing to  
on a windows 10? you downloaded the windows 64bit version?  
[http://download.processing.org/processing-3.5.3-windows64.zip](http://download.processing.org/processing-3.5.3-windows64.zip)  
and unzip to?  
c:/Users/ \< USER \> /…/processing-3.5.3/

-b- when you start it first time it creates two more directories

-b1- sketchbook dir  
c:/Users/ \< USER \> /Documents/Processing/  
and subdirs /libraries /examples /templates /tools /modes…

-b2- system directory  
c:/Users/ \< USER \> /AppData/Roaming/Processing/  
where the preferences.txt file is.

? by the contribution manager ?

looks like a unfinished? downlaod/install  
`c:/Users/ < USER > /Documents/Processing/libraries/video/`  
would be correct.

now you say you loaded processing 3.5.3 later?  
well, if you start a other unziped processing later it  
will find the existing system dir and sketchbook dir  
and with this the same ?broken? library.  
so NO, the processing download not has the video lib embedded.

* * *

better  
-a- check on 64 / 32 bit OS / processing version  
-b- clean the  
`c:/Users/ < USER > /Documents/Processing/libraries/...video..../`  
-c- install it again via contribution manager

I have downloaded the 32bit version and now it is working fine  
I will do as you directed and let you know
