TL:DR; for the December 31st release:

- You can now [intercept the ESC key](http://dev.py5coding.org/reference/sketch_intercept_escape.html) and your sketch won’t close, so you can use the ESC key event for something else;
- Improvements on the default renderer for Windows and OSX users, including the fix that makes sketch windows no longer open behind other windows;

You might want to check the great [Live Coding feature](https://py5coding.org/content/live_coding.html) recently added on a previous release! 🙂
