Hi @paulstgeorge ,

This thread [3D Rotations: Rotating around the screen axes](https://discourse.processing.org/t/3d-rotations-rotating-around-the-screen-axes/14239) may be a place to start. (The code discussed there doesn’t actually use any ‘picking’ function to see if the mouse has selected the 3D shape with a ray, which is a separate task from rotation.)
