how you end up here at the forum?

-a- you google like “processing forum”

-b- you come from our ‘mama’

> **[Welcome to Processing!](https://processing.org/)**
>
> Processing is a flexible software sketchbook and a language for learning how to code. Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology…

and like a good child we must carry mama’s name
mean this SITE must have a backlink to [processing.org](http://processing.org).
( corporate design … )

NO, i not want to open another issue at
[Issues · processing/processing-docs · GitHub](https://github.com/processing/processing-docs/issues) ,
to mess with the discourse header.

thinking some time if that could be more selective here following idea:

each category has a sticky like

> [@About the Processing category](https://discourse.processing.org/t/about-the-processing-category/16):
>
> Discussions about Processing programs and development

can we have in there following add content?

this category is about the
use of the [processing](https://processing.org/) IDE and the processing language,

- check if you have the latest version of the IDE at [download](https://processing.org/download/)
and also read about the recent [improvements](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/processing/processing/master/build/shared/revisions.txt)
- the most compact intro into the processing language you find
in the [reference](https://processing.org/reference/)
- if you have questions about the IDE or a command you are
at the right place, for
-
  - [processing p5.js](https://discourse.processing.org/c/p5js) or

-
  - [processing python](https://discourse.processing.org/c/processing-py) or

-
  - [processing android](https://discourse.processing.org/c/processing-android)
choose the respective category of this forum.

or like for the p5.js sticky:

> [@About the p5.js category](https://discourse.processing.org/t/about-the-p5-js-category/20):
>
> Discussions about p5.js programs and development

can we have in there following add content?

this category is about the
use of the processing [p5.js](http://p5js.org/), a processing language run in a browser
( local or over the www )
you can develop your code

- in the processing IDE / mode p5.js ( and your default browser ) locally or
- use the [online editor](https://editor.p5js.org/)
- as the js version is a little bit different from the java version check
-
  - the [reference](https://p5js.org/reference/) there

(optional the crosslink like in above section )

i hope i could give you the idea about the category selective back-links
and you like it.
