For the second time, I find that when I start up my sketch, the .pde file is empty of everything. I saved before I closed the program. I didn’t do anything particularly advanced, it was a somewhat working sprite editor program that didn’t have any file capabilities yet. I have restarted the processing editor, and the computer, with no luck.

Does anyone know why this happened? Is it a known bug? What can I do?

You may find those PDE folders w/ “.java” files @ “%LocalAppData%\Temp”.

Choose sort by modification time to find them faster. Good luck! ⭐

Thank you so so much. I was considering giving up on Processing. Now I won’t have to.
