So I’ve been making live wallpapers in the processing app and I would love to be ble to share them with friends. Does anyone know if and how I can go about to export a live wallpaper as an apk file that others can install and run on their android devices? Preferibly without having to install APDE or any third party apps on the users phone.

I just can’t seem to find any information about this on google nor this forum.

when working on pc you should be able to export your project in android mode and generate an apk, however when I try this it fails and says I need custom icons or can default to the ones included, and I click ok to choose the latter and nothing happens. the tutorial link doesnt work either, maybe there are other posts in the forum with the same type.

I don’t think it is using any permissions, it used to get tweets that mentioned a keyword (which I assume needs INTERNET permission) but I took that bit out… The entire project is here: [http://tomsmith.webfactional.com/borthbados/JustBorthbados.zip](http://tomsmith.webfactional.com/borthbados/JustBorthbados.zip) And as I say, it runs/builds and sends across USB fine (and is even there on my phone now) but if I download any of the 3 .apks that get built, then no dice… Thanks again… Tom p.s This is u…
