I am trying to connect two Raspberry Pi’s using an I2C connection. I planned to use one as the slave sending data, and the other as the master. When I do i2cdetect -y 1 on my system the two pi’s can see each other, but no i2c address comes up. Is there a way to set an address to allow them to communicate?

Hi @TheDek, I’m sorry no-one has replied. Using a Pi as I2C slave is a less likely option, and clearly no-one here has tried it. I had a quick Google of “RPi I2C Slave” and there’s lots of results.

best regards,

Richard.
