# Cannot see anything in console

Using Tristan Bunn book - On step one - Hello World - But console is blank when I hit the play button - This also happens when I use the examples.

I am using [processing.org](http://processing.org)

Do you use println ("hello ");

?

You did not provide enough information… some of the missing details are in the screen grab below.

This worked:

I also changed the category to _Processing.py_

Are you using Processing 4?  
It isn’t working yet with Python mode ☹  
If this is the case, please download Processing 3.5.4! 🙂
