# Bug: After typing in the code window, mouse cursor no longer aligns with typed text

When I type into the coding window, after typing 12 or more characters, the spacing between the (flashing) typing cursor and the typed text gets so wide that I can no longer correctly put my cursor between letters I want to type. When I try to, e.g., put my cursor between two letters and type, my type ends up further to the right. Is there a setting I need to change to fix this? Or is this a bug?
This has never been a problem with my versions of Processing, only with the most recent change to P4.

there is an issue with processing and windows scaling. if you google the github you can find it lodged as an issue.
