# Are contributed library examples Read Only?

Hi!

I moved over to Processing 4, and made a new sketchbook folder. I also copied over the library I was using from my previous sketchbook folder to the new one (for reference the contributed library was HTTP Requests for Processing).

I am able to open the contributed Library example just fine, but it looks like I was able to over write a contributed library example (I did this on accident). I know when I save on the pre-installed library examples it gives me the “Some files are marked as read-only” alert and prompts me to save as.

Is it normal behavior that I can overwrite contributed library examples? Or do you think I have folder structure/settings set up improperly?
