I have been lurking around StackExchange and Processing forums for any leads on a starting project for AlwaysOnHotwordDetector voice service for Android Mode on Processing but I don’t think many have ventured on this project path.

I want to automate my speech recognizer with a hotword trigger, I would love to have a hands free operation on my home automation project similar to Alexa.

Can anyone direct me to a good write up to start on studying for the Voice Service that i need?

Hi.
I also searched a little bit, but it seems that you need `MANAGE_VOICE_KEYPHRASES` permission, which only system apps can request.

yes that is my finding as well, so the situation is we’re waiting for android to allow us to use this feature in the future. right now its a waiting game.
