what can I do to make this not happen?

I always look to see if there are examples that are already available that can help.

What is the code for my wave to move at the same time as the song?

The sound libraries have examples that come with them. Processing sound library: https://processing.org/tutorial/ There is one for Sound Sound \ Libraries \ Processing.org From the Processing PDE in the file menu: [image] The Minim library also has resources and examples.

Look through the examples ( File > Examples…) that come with Processing:

And there are examples there for you that will help.
